The First Intern Report

This week is my first week in AWS as a DCO Intern. Because I don’t have any work experience at all before this week, at first, I don’t know what to do and how to do, fortunately, there are so many friendly and interesting people who actually helped me a lot. The major work in this week was learning online and training offline, these is not truly DCO’s work yet, but I do have felt some pressure and tiredness.

What impressed me deeply is working atmosphere, especially at weekly meeting, every site not only reported their issue that have not solved, but also shared some TT that worth sharing. I think this is an open and inclusive team.

I could learn a lot of knowledge which I would not learn at school, maybe this is the significance and the advantage of Intern, I have learned so much and saw so much. All colleagues are very concerned about me, and they are willing to teach me many stuff will be used in work which made me relieve a lot of pressure.

The most I think about is choice, from the first day to the present, what is my attitude towards about this job, I am very hesitant for the final correct answer. But by talking to people around me I understand it is not the time to get the answer, the only thing I should to do is do the best of me so that I have the right to do choice.

Although the content need to learn is so much hardcore to me and maybe I will take more time than other Intern, I will still work harder and harder.
